Pollinator

Many of our cherished pollinator species are on the decline but luckily there's a few things we can do to help. Creating a sanctuary for bees, butterflies and birds to thrive, means we must provide them with 3 key elements- A variety of plants that bloom throughout the year along with a water source and an absence of pesticides. In return, our wild friends will continue pollinating more than 80% of our crops every single year.

Rooftop

People have been growing rooftop gardens since ancient times for aesthetic, insulation, food production and environmental benefits. Rooftop growing can absorb solar radiation and help to regulate heating and cooling bills while reducing rain run off, which all leads to a decline in energy consumption. This is especially important in urban areas where there is considerable heat build up leading to smog and other pollution  problems.

Edible

Such convenience for any chef, home cook or even a restaurant patio. Cut costs on your favorite fresh ingredients and enjoy the benefits and rewards of a garden that keeps on giving. Just knowing that you are feeding your customers and family homegrown, healthy, veggies, herbs and spices is such a rewarding experience for everyone involved. You can expect a colorful variety of spicy, sweet and savory in every Bee Kind Edible Garden.

Rain

We specifically design our rain gardens for super efficient absorption of rain and ground water runoff. Each plant species is chosen based on it's ability to filter and use excess moisture from the area and create a beautiful landscape in the wettest of places. Rain gardens are not only useful in problem areas of your yard but they also reduce pollution flowing into creeks, rivers, lakes and even the ocean up to 30%.

Rock

Rock gardens are a wonderful solution for drought and extreme weather areas. They are also the perfect option for those who have little time to spend on maintenance and upkeep. At Bee Kind, We offer a variety of styles from Zen to Victorian and can design it with as few or as many plants as you would like. Rocky landscape also makes an amazing natural habitat for lizards, snakes and other pest eating predators.

Moon

Bee Kind knows that some of you are natural night owls and enjoy nothing more than relaxing outside under the moonlight in your garden. We too like to enjoy the the beauty of the night... so we have added moon gardens as a Bee Kind option. Moon gardens are packed with bright foliage and sweet aromas. Waves of gorgeous shades of white glisten under the stars and we even include a few night bloomers that will attract nocturnal pollinators such as bats and moths.

Container

Potted plants provide an opportunity to make use of small spaces such as balconies, porches and decks, allowing those with very limited room to partake in the beauty of gardening. Additionally, poor soil and drainage are not a concern and just about any type of plant can be used regardless of it's usual requirements. Container gardens work particularly good indoors and for pollinators, rooftops, and Edibles.

Shade

When you have a lot of tree cover or the sun just doesn't seem to shine in certain areas of your yard, it can leave you with dead areas that just won't grow. Let us turn those dark depressing  eye sores into a luscious green garden that thrives in these conditions and also provides a cool habitat for birds and other animals in the heat of the summer.
